This shows the circus tent well. The ropes are 5' apart along the pen edge. They are tied to 40' of 1/2" PVC pipe that's temporarily coupled together. The other end is tied to a metal ring. That goes over the top of the center pole.
To move the tent, lift the ring off, pull the ropes over the fence, and drag the pipe to the new location. The weight of the pipe keeps the ropes
tight and in place.
