The Salatin pen was much too small for the NH Reds and Barreds,
even after the Cornish were gone. They'd picked the Cornish really
badly and we were afraid they turn on each other.
So we designed this moving coop, using information we'd collected.
It was designed to hold 75 birds.
The 2 front doors hinge down into access ramps. It sits on wheelbarrow
wheels. They are tied into the 2" x 4" x 10' that sit narrow side up and
support the floor.
All sides are either hardware cloth or metal roofing, except the vent
across the back, which is covered with window screening.
