Jersey Giants are a relatively rare breed, and there's a bit of inbreeding. This manifested as a hen with leg deformities and a rooster with a cross beak out of 26 birds.
These birds were not good for breeding, but by getting them to raise for meat and eggs, we helped keep the breed going.
