The garden expanded the next year to 42' x 52'. It now had a rhubarb bed and an asparagus bed in the NE corner. It had 3' walkways and was completely mulched with hay.
In it: 28 mustard, 26 poppyseed, 6 tomatoes, 4 plum tomatoes, 1 cherry tomato, 1 summer squash, 1 zucchini, 4 cukes, 36 potatoes, broccoli, peppers, dill, basil, green beans, lettuce, parsley, radishes, carrots, onions, snow peas, green peas, celery, marigolds and nasturtiums.
The front 20' were enclosed with nasturtiums and marigolds, as a hedge and the 3' walkway ran inside them.
