The cold frame in use. It has 3 panels of corrugated plastic. I keep them tied down at all times, because of the wind out here.
The wood for the cold frame looks greenish in the picture, but it is not treated wood. It was wood cut on a portable mill by a friend of David's.
If you look over the top of the middle panel you can see the ash pile. This is where we dump ashes from the wood stoves, to be used as potash in the gardens.
