This shows the laying box from the front and closed. It's about 18" off the ground. The opening is 8" wide. Just inside it, you can see the T on the divider, blocking some of the ability to see in/out.
The hallway is 8" wide and runs the full length. The laying box was built entirely of salvaged/recycled materials.
