There are 3 roosts, 7' long. They are 2" x 4" and were sanded and the edges rounded. There's room for 42 birds on them, but the entire coop is only 10' x 7', which allows for 30 birds or so. But it's pretty crowded with the 18 we have now.
By staggering them, it increased the sq. footage available. The lowest is 18" from the floor, and they are 1' high and 1' apart and sit 1' from the wall.
