This was built as a multi purpose room: storage, butchering, hanging room, and brooder room. We soon discovered it was not suitable as a brooder room, and the only way to be sure it was cold enough for hanging was to be doing that in December and January.
It was just too cold for us, then and we had problems with freezing. So now it's just storage and butchering. You can see the hooks for hanging still in the painted beam.
